Workforce Training: Cabling

This two course program provides instruction on the installation, splicing, termination, and testing of copper cabling. The program includes basics of copper and fiber optic networks, cabling standards, installation safety and proper techniques for terminating and installing copper and fiber cables, connectors, splices, hardware, and tools.

The following course modules are included:

• Cabling Installer

• Cabling I- Copper Training

Requirements:

• Attend an information/orientation session

• Ages 18 and over

• Math & Reading Assessment
