The Robotics and Mechatronics Certificate Program trains students to be robotics/automation/manufacturing/mechatronics technicians who can maintain, program, troubleshoot, and repair robots and mechatronics systems in different applications. Students in this certificate program receive extensive training in robotics, PLCs, mechatronics, computer controls, instrumentation, data acquisition, mechanical controls, pneumatics, electrical power, motors, and hydraulics. This certificate program emphasizes hands-on training and prepares students for immediate employment. This certificate program does not require any mathematics prerequisite.
Suggested Sequence of Courses
** All BCCC students must meet the College’s Computer Literacy requirements in order to receive a degree or a certificate. All first-time, full- and part-time degree and certificate seeking students are required to complete the PRE 100 course within the first six credits.
