This class is designed to introduce fundamental reading and writing competencies required to participate in GED classes. Readings and activities in the content areas will familiarize students with reading for a purpose. Response writing will be introduced. Topics will include compound and complex sentences, common types of context clues, verbs, and types of nouns, cause & effect sequence, and charts and graphs.
