RSC 213 - Cardiorespiratory Diagnostics(2 credits) 30 lecture hours Prerequisites: RSC 135 Corequisites: RSC 211 , RSC 212 , RSC 214 , and RSC 215 This course develops knowledge for the evaluation of flows, volumes, and capacities of the normal and diseased lung. Airway resistance, pulmonary compliance, indirect calorimetry, apnea, polysommography, and special studies are included. An introduction to cardiopulmonary stress testing, non-invasive cardiac monitoring techniques, and cardiac catheterization is provided. RC 213 is the supporting lecture course for RSC 214 .
