PTT 250 - Physical Therapist Assisting Procedures IV(4 credits) 30 lecture hours; 60 skills and teaching lab hours Prerequisites: Completion of all first-year Physical Therapist Assistant Program courses and PTT 240 and PTT 260 Corequisites: PTT 210 Lab fee This is the final course in the four-part procedures sequence. Students study selected medical, neurologic, and orthopedic disabilities with emphasis placed on more advanced therapeutic techniques. Modules include amputees and prosthetics, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, orthopedic conditions, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation techniques, and Neurodevelopmental Treatment.
