REN 090 is the first of a three-tier sequence of developmental reading-writing courses. Like all RENG courses, this course is theme and master unit based. Units include practice in work attack and vocabulary development, reading comprehension, study habits, grammar and mechanics, and paragraphing. This skill practice, along with exploration of current issues across the disciplines via class readings and discussions, optimizes the RENG 90 student’s opportunity for successful completion of REN 091 .
