Workforce Training: Medical Billing & Coding Certification

The Medical Coding and Billing progam provides key skills to become a hospital billing clerk. The course prepares participants for the American Medical Billing Association (AMBA) Certified Medical Reimbursement Specialist (CMRS) certification exam. 

The following course modules are included:

• Medical Terminology
• Anatomy and Physiology
• ICD Coding
• CPT Coding
• Medical Billing

Requirements:

• Applicants must successfully pass a reading assessment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 
• Successful completion of Medical Terminology for Health Information Technology Careers 
• Successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology
