This course is designed to develop reading, writing and math skills at the Pre-GED level. The emphasis is on reading, comprehending and analyzing informational texts; and constructing a coherent paragraph with a clearly defi ned topic and relevant, supporting details. Students will focus on quantitative problem solving using whole numbers, fractions, mixed numbers and decimals. Emphasis is placed on interpreting and solving word problems.
