CISS 109 - Principles of Computer Information Systems(3 credits) 30 lecture hours; 30 lab hours Prerequisites: None Passing this course with a “C” or better fulfills the College’s Computer Literacy Requirement. Students are introduced to the world of computers. Concepts related to interaction with computers, fundamental hardware, software, communication concepts, and going on-line are examined. The course provides exercises and lab assignments that allow students to interact with a computer and actually learn by using the computer and the World Wide Web.
