RBT 206 - Robotics Application and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) Lab(1 credit) 30 lab hours Prerequisites: RBT 105 Corequisites: RBT 204 (Note: If student is pursuing Robotics/Mechatronics certificate, the corequisite is NONE). This lab course trains students with various robotics applications and their associated components and control systems in manufacturing, construction, service, etc. Students will be introduced, through hands-on experience, to the current methods of controlling robots, programming robots, interfacing robots, and integrating robots into systems designed to complete specific tasks. Students will also learn to address safety issues. Students will be required to build, and test a traffic light application using PLC trainers.
