RBT 204 - Robotics Applications and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs)(3 credits) 45 lecture Prerequisites: EGN 101 , RBT 150 and ELC 256 Corequisites: RBT 206 (Note: If the student successfully completed RBT 206 as a part of the requirement of the Robotics/Mechatronics certificate, there is no corequisite. This course covers various robotics applications, their associated components, and control systems in manufacturing, construction, service, etc. Students will be introduced to the current methods of controlling robots, programming robots, interfacing robots, and integrating robots into systems designed to complete specific tasks. Students will be required to design, and simulate a traffic light PLC application.
