MGM 180 - Personal Financial Management(3 credits) 45 lecture hours Prerequisites: MAT 092 or satisfactory ACCUPLACER or ACCUPLACER-ESL score Students are introduced to the principles of financial planning, and the resources necessary to achieve financial success. The financial planning process includes budgeting, cash management, using credit cards, borrowing, tax management, major expenditures, risk management, investments, and retirement and estate planning. After completing this course, students understand the importance of establishing financial goals, and the steps in the financial planning process.
