HUM 207 - Creation: Myths and Theories(3 credits) Meets Category I General Education Requirements 45 lecture hours Prerequisites: ENG 101 or appropriate ACCUPLACER scores This comparative study of the myths and theories of creation, examines people’s beliefs about the origins of the world, their meaning, and the development of cultural traditions based on those beliefs. The course also provides an opportunity to study the development of scientific theories of creation, as an outgrowth of man’s technological development.
