CYA 233 - Ethical Hacking(3 credits) 30 lecture hours; 30 lab hours Prerequisites: CYA 125 Corequisites: CYA 233L Ethical Hacking engages students in an interactive environment where they will learn how to scan, test, hack and secure information systems. Students will gain practical experience with essential security systems with a plethora of offensive security topics ranging from how perimeter defenses work to scanning and attacking simulated network. A wide variety of tools, viruses, and malware is presented, providing a complete understanding of tactics and tools used by hackers.
