CAD 101 - Introduction to CADD(3 credits) 30 lecture hours; 30 lab hours Prerequisites: None Corequisites: CAD 101L Passing this course with a C or better fulfills the College’s Computer Literacy Requirement. This beginner’s CADD course exposes students to basic computer-aided drafting and design skills. Topics include manufacturing processes, engineering design processes, freehand sketching, descriptive geometry, and AutoCAD software. Emphasis is on the use of drawing tools to construct simple two-dimensional objects typically found in mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering and in architecture.
