ABE 4978 - Essential III RLA Social Studies

This intermediate class is designed to hone reading and writing concepts required to participate in advanced GED classes. To refine existing skills, more rigorous reading in the Social Studies content areas will be introduced, providing a foundation for critical thinking and active reading skills. Extended response writing will be introduced. Topics will include point of view, primary and secondary sources, paragraph organization contextual language, synthesis, and pattern recognition.
