ABE 4980 - Essential II RLA Social Studies

This introductory class is designed to hone reading and writing concepts required to participate in advanced GED classes. Reading in the Social Studies content areas will be introduced, providing a foundation for critical thinking and active reading skills. Response writing will be introduced. Topics will include main idea, topic sentences, point of view, paragraph organization, contextual language, synthesis, and pattern recognition.
