DMK 101 - Foundations and Strategy of Marketing(3 credits) 45 lecture hours Corequisites: ENG 101 This course is designed to introduce the student to the basics of Digital Marketing. It aims to develop the student’s understanding of marketing in the context of a business and provide a framework for students to think about concepts such as segmentation, targeting, value propositions, and metrics. Students will be assessed throughout the course through exercises on the topics. This culminates in a final project in which the student will use the PATH framework to analyze and create a digital marketing strategy for a chosen company. Basic internet skills and an understanding of Microsoft Office applications are recommended.
