CDF 240 - Digital Forensics III(4 Credits) 30 lecture hours; 30 hours lab Prerequisites: CDF 115 and CDF 130 Digital Forensics III provides an advanced concepts of computer forensics in today’s world. Topics will include the digital forensics investigative process, understanding hard drives and file systems, data acquisition and duplication, and defeating anti-forensics techniques. Also, students will learn about database forensics and how to defeat anti-forensics techniques; Windows Linux, Mac, Network, Dark Web, and Malware Forensics. Students will also learn techniques to investigate Web attacks and e-mail crimes. Investigating Cloud Forensics is also discussed.
